　　Ding Hongxia, deputy director of Foshan Women and Children Hospital, said that after the new hospital is put into use, it will continue to retain its current location and form a hospital pattern of “one hospital and two sites”. The Foshan New Town hospital area will be the administrative center and it will also serve as critical care centers for pregnant women, newborns and children, as well as high-tech centers such as fetal medicine centers.

　　In addition, Ding Hongxia said that in view of the current inconvenience traffic in Foshan New Town, the hospital is also struggling to solve it in multiple ways. “After the establishment of the transportation hub, it will be convenient for the citizens of the five districts of Foshan to successfully reach the Foshan New Town hospital area.” In the meanwhile, the hospital will also provide free transportation vehicles for the hospital areas both in Chancheng District and Foshan New Town. Besides, the number of parking spaces in the Foshan New Town hospital area has reached 1,350, which is equivalent to 3.6 times of the old hospital area, which will greatly facilitate patients.

　　Neonatal special outpatient clinic bed is guaranteed

　　As Ding Hongxia introduced, there are 9,905 women who gave birth at the Foshan Women and Children Hospital from January to September this year. "At present, there are only 83 hospital beds in the Foshan Women and Children Hospital, but there are more than 60 maternity deliveries at most in one day in the obstetrics." To this end, she mentioned that in order to ensure the smooth delivery of pregnant women, the hospital will solve this problem by speeding up hospital bed turnover while ensuring medical safety.

　　In order to ensure the safety of pregnant women after childbirth, the hospital will set up a postpartum clinic in the Women's Health Department. If there is any uncomfortable situation within the 42-day re-examination, you can go to the Women's Health Department to see the postpartum clinic.

　　In addition, the hospital will also apply for a health card for the newborn baby so that the babies can be scheduled for medical examination and vaccination. With the opening of a neonatal special outpatient clinic bed for newborns, it is convenient for the newborn to return to hospital for follow-up.

　　Appointment registration rate of the hospital ranks first in Foshan

　　It is known that in November last year, Foshan Women and Children Hospital put all doctors' sources on the Internet to open an appointment. The public can make appointments through eight channels, such as WeChat, Alipay, website and mobile APP. The appointment registration rate rose from 70% in 2017 to 92% in 2018, ranking first in Foshan.

　　In order to further standardize the appointment registration, the hospital also signed a work agreement with the Ancestral Temple Police Station of the Chancheng Branch of the Foshan Public Security Bureau to build a real-name registration system for hospitals. More accurate medical services can be provided in way of increasing the face self-recognition and real-name system certification registration to ensure the authenticity of patient data.
