　　The 27th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival will kick off in Foshan this week. As the highlight of the film festival, film artists walking on the red carpet and the 34th Popular Movies Hundred Flowers Awarding Ceremony and the closing ceremony will be conducted in Foshan International Sports Culture Entertainment Hall. This is the first show of the newly-launched Foshan International Sports Culture Entertainment Hall. Foshan image, quality and soft power of development will be manifested through high-standard venues, beautiful urban environment and complete supporting facilities.　

　　To create a new landmark in Foshan and provide high-quality cultural and sports services

　　It is reported that Foshan International Sports Culture Entertainment Hall is located in the core area of CBD in Foshan New City, covering an area of 38,900 square meters with a total construction area of 152,400 square meters. It is planned to deploy 15,000 spectator seats, 56 VIP boxes and more than 2,300 parking spaces. It is connected with the Dragon Boat Square on the north side and is considered as one of the largest single sports and cultural facilities in South China.

　　As the first stadium built and invested by private enterprises with US professional basketball standard, the Entertainment Hall is a large-scale city synthesis integrating performance center, shopping center, shopping district, business and residence with LALive as a template. It meets the multiple needs of the public for sports, shopping and entertainment.

　　At the same time, Foshan Cultural Center project is progressing as planned. The total land area of the project reaches 308,000 square meters, the net land area is 222,400 square meters and the total construction area covers about 663,500 square meters including Fang Tower (containing Foshan Exhibition Hall, Foshan Grand Theatre, etc.) and Foshan Science Museum New Hall. Foshan Library New Hall, Foshan Museum New Hall, Foshan Youth Palace, Foshan Cultural Center and so on.

　　To optimize industrial layout and improve urban function

　　In Shunde's urban form improvement plan, it is committed to not only building a first-class urban appearance, but also enhancing the urban core competitiveness by relying on regional conditions and distributing modern high-end industrial carriers such as exhibition, intelligent manufacturing, and drones to optimize the industrial structure and improve urban functions.

　　Shunde will continue to promote the construction of the second phase of the Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center and its supporting projects this year. Next year, the total exhibition area of Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center will reach 100,000 square meters including the first phase of the 50,000 square meters exhibition area. With its scale equivalent to Canton Fair Complex, Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center has become one of the largest convention and exhibition centers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

　　As a manufacturing region, Shunde will take the advantages of industry and economy to further promote the development of intelligent manufacturing industry. On March 28th, Guangdong Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Demonstration Park and the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing International Cooperation Demonstration Zone were launched in Beijiao Town. The Midea-KUKA Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Base entered the park and started construction. As a key project for the promotion of urban form in Foshan's central part, the Midea-KUKA robot project planned to cover about 1,200 acres. The Midea-KUKA project itself and its industrial clusters have an output value of about 100 billion yuan.

　　In the core area of Foshan New City, Shunde has arranged projects such as Suning Plaza and Foshan New Town CBD to increase financial and commercial services.

　　In the special action of urban form upgrading, Shunde will promote the improvement of high-speed road, the landscape along the main and secondary trunk roads and the construction of the urban landscape corridor and the urban gateway scenery. Among them, Shunde will emphasize the improvement of the landscape along the line by focusing on the expressways such as Sanle Road and the main and secondary trunk roads such as Lingnan Avenue and Foshan Avenue.

　　In addition, in order to promote the further interconnection of infrastructure, Shunde will advance the construction of Huayang Road Interchange Project. If the Huayang Road Interchange Project is completed, it will break the traffic bottleneck connecting Fochen Road and Huayang Road and strengthen the traffic links between Foshan New City, Chencun and Chancheng District to facilitate the citizens to travel.
