　　On January 19th, the inaugural and the first meeting of Preparation and Construction Advisory Committee of Foshan University of Technology was held at the Foshan Sino-European Services Center. Zhu Wei, the Deputy Secretary of the CPC Foshan Municipal Committee and mayor, said that Foshan is determined to build Foshan University of Technology into a high-level, international and research-oriented university, supporting the transformation and upgrading of Foshan industry and promoting the high-quality development of Foshan. The committee consists of 30 members, including 15 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, 2 foreign academicians, and the original or current leaders of domestic and famous universities such as Peking University, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and South China University of Technology and the education department and well-known enterprises in Foshan. Family. They will participate in the consulting research and decision-making arguments for major issues in Foshan University of Technology, and guide the preparation of various tasks.

The committee members made suggestions on the path of running schools, school orientation, system mechanism, talent introduction, professional discipline setting, talent training modes, service the development of Foshan and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, school-enterprise cooperation and international cooperation.
