2019 LPL Spring Finals will be held on April 21 in Foshan

　　The national top-notch large-scale e-sports professional event–2019 League of Legends Pro League (LPL) Spring Finals will be held on April 21 in Foshan. It is the first time that a large-scale professional E-sports event enters Foshan, which is expected to bring Foshan e-sports enthusiasts fierce and exciting competition.

Foshan International Sports & Cultural Center is located in Foshan New City

　　In recent years, Foshan E-sports industry ushered in a wave of vigorous development. Last year, League of Legends e-sports met Foshan for the first time–2018 International College Cup（ICC）was held in Nanhai, Foshan.

　　In last year's event, Foshan traditional culture and e-sports event combined in terms of preheating, competition scene and off-site interaction under multi-dimensional level.

　　Before the competition, college contestants from all over the world watched challenging lion dance at Wong Fei-hung Lion Arts Hall, experiencing the life stories of Wong Fei-hung and other martial arts predecessors. During the competition, there were lion dance and martial arts show activating the atmosphere at the competition scene, and also paper-cut and dragon boat booths outside, which combined the role of the League of Legends and other game elements with local culture, displaying more vitality.

　　As the venue for the Spring Finals, Foshan International Sports & Cultural Center was completed in 2018. As a unique landmark venue in Foshan, it is not only the main venue of the 2018 Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, but also one of the venues for the 2019 Basketball World Cup in China.

　　The 2019 Basketball World Cup will be held from August 31 to September 15 in China. On March 16, the grouping result of 32 teams came out. The Chinese Men's Basketball Team enters the same group with and C?te d'Ivoire, Poland and Venezuela. Angola, Philippines, Italy and Serbia enter Group D, and they will participate in the competitions in Foshan.

　　In order to better preheat the Basketball World Cup, Foshan will also host the activity of “World Cup House”. Its main function is to introduce the history of basketball development and share stories of basketball stars, which is similar to a small basketball museum.

　　This is not only the largest event in the history of the International Basketball Federation, but also the highest standard international event held in China between the 2022 Paralympic Games andthe 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. At that time, people will be able to watch the exciting world-class basketball match in Foshan. Let’s look forward to it!
