Foshan and Germany to co-build China’s first industrial robot training base

　　On May 20, Robotation Academy Foshan and TüV Rhein Academy signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Foshan, and the TüV Rhein Academy & Robotation Academy Foshan Training Center was unveiled. With the expansion of Foshan’s “Friends Circle”, Robotation Academy Foshan has increased its strength to serve the transformation and upgrading of the local industry, and it’s expanding the matching resources.

　　According to the cooperation plan, Robotation Academy Foshan and TüV Rhein Academy will jointly build the first industrial robot training base in China. The base will be located in Robotation Academy Foshan in the future, and it will fully carry out training in the areas of industrial robot operation, maintenance and application.

　　Comprehensively expanding education and training business

　　After nearly half a year of negotiation and communication, Robotation Academy Foshan and TüV Rhein Academy finally confirmed the cooperation. According to the needs of Foshan and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, TüV Rhein Academy & Robotation Academy Foshan Training Center will train and certify in the fields of robotics, intelligent manufacturing, quality management, automobile logistics and so on.

　　Wei Wei, CEO of Robotation Academy Foshan, said that this cooperation is an important layout for the academy's operation team to fully expand business section in education and training , and it will introduce more automation requirements in other business sectors. In addition, through this cooperation, Robotation Academy Foshan will train industrial talents for Foshan and even South China, enhance Foshan’s reputation in intelligent industry and build the academy’s own brand.

　　Link resources to serve local industries

　　"We welcome TüV Rhine Academy with an open attitude." Zhang Yun, deputy director of Foshan Sino-German Industrial Service Zone Management Committee, said that the Sino-German Industrial Service Zone, where Robotation Academy Foshan is located, is making every effort to build an intelligent manufacturing ecosphere. The second phase of Tazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center will be opened this year, with an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters. At the same time, the Midea-KUKA Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Base and other projects have also been settled.

　　Zhang Yun said that the cooperation between TüV Rhine Academy and Robotation Academy Foshan will promote win-win cooperation between the two sides. Shunde is attracting global high-quality resources to form industrial agglomeration and develop intelligent manufacturing industry, which is also an opportunity for TüV Rhine Academy. At the same time, he hoped that TüV Rhine Academy can explore cooperation with Shunde local vocational and technical schools to jointly cultivate skilled personnel for the local industry.
