Foshan will have direct access to Hong Kong by high-speed rail

  From July 10th, the new national railway operation plan will be put into effect. Citizens will have access to take the high-speed rail from Foshan West Railway Station to Hong Kong directly by then. According to China Railway Nanning Group Co., Ltd, the high-speed trains from Nanning to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will be opened, passing through Foshan West Railway Station and other stations. The whole journey will take 3 hours and 59 minutes and run a pair of trains every day. At that time, starting from Foshan West Railway Station, citizens will reach Hong Kong West Kowloon Station in 1 hour and 22 minutes.

  The train between Nanning and Hong Kong SAR will utilize the CRH380A EMU, which will be operated by the Nanning-Guangzhou High-speed Railway and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-HK High-Speed Railway. The whole operation time is 3 hours and 59 minutes, with a pair of trains running every day.

  According to the train schedule, the starting station of departure is Nanning East Railway Station. Along the way, it will stop at four stations including Wuzhou South Station, Foshan West Station, Guangzhou South Station and Shenzhen North Station. The train will depart from Foshan West Station at 13:51 every day and arrive at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station at 15:13. On the return journey, the starting station is Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, passing through Shenzhen North Station, Humen Station, Guangzhou South Station, Foshan West Station and Wuzhou South Station. The train will return from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station at 15:33, arrive at Foshan West Station at 16:55 and reaching Nanning East Station at 19:32.

  After arriving at West Kowloon Station by high-speed rail, passengers can get off at the B2 floor to handle the exit procedures for mainland China, and then enter the Hong Kong port area and apply for Hong Kong entry procedures, which can save a lot of time. After entering Hong Kong, passengers can leave the gate by ticket.
