Trial production of Shunde UAV project will be conducted in June this year

　　The first phase of the Midea-KUKA Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Base has been trial-produced. In April, the construction of Bright Dream Robot Valley began to take shape, and the world-class UAV project will come into trial-production in June this year. On February 14th, Peng Cong’en,deputy secretary of the CPC Shunde District Committee, said that Shunde would fully implement the main responsibility of the construction of Sanlong Bay high-end innovation cluster and disclosed the progress of several major projects.

　　Foshan takes Sanlong Bay high-end innovation cluster area as a major strategic deployment to integrate into Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Peng Cong’en believes that Shunde, considered as the main power in the construction of the Sanlong Bay high-end innovation cluster area, has the responsibility and ability to implement the main part responsibility of the construction. Shunde should consider the significance of the construction of the Sanlong Bay high-end innovation cluster from a higher level, and promote it as an important platform for Shunde to attract the world's cutting-edge science and technology resources and to display Foshan’s manufacturing industry.

　　The Government Work Report of Shunde proposes to play a supporting role in major industrial projects, and to accelerate the promotion of several major projects such as Country Garden Robot Valley and Midea-KUKA Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Park. In this regard, Peng Cong’en said that under the new pattern of planning and constructing Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Sanlong Bay high-end innovative cluster area, Shunde will focus on developing emerging industries. Now, Midea and Country Garden, two of the world's top 500 enterprises, are in the process of developing intelligent manufacturing and robotics. The first phase of the Midea-KUKA Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Base has been trial-produced. The second and third phases, including European-style towns, will be launched in the middle of this year. Country Garden Robot Valley is a key project of Guangdong province and Foshan with an investment of 30 billion yuan each year. The project is progressing rapidly at present and is expected to take shape at the end of April. It is worth mentioning that Foshan has cooperated with RWTH Aachen University in Germany to build Foshan University of Technology, and cooperated with Northeastern University to build the Foshan Graduate School. Both projects were placed in the Robot Valley, which will provide talent support for the construction of the Robot Valley. The construction of the world-class drone project is going smoothly and the project is expected to be trial-produced in June. The tax revenue this year is about 30 million yuan, which is better than the original plan.

　　In 2019, Shunde took the lead in building a high-quality development mechanism reforming and innovation experimental zone in Guangdong Province. How to promote it? Peng Cong’en said that at present, the land development level of Shunde is relatively high, and the space for attracting investment is limited. To this end, Shunde has taken the transformation of the village-level industrial park as the “No.1 project”. Last year, Shunde completed the renovation of the 4551 mu village-level industrial park. The goal of this year is to transform 13,000 mu, which is more than the area last year. This is the requirement of Shunde self-pressurization and self-revolution.
