Foshan, China Service Outsourcing Demonstration City

Recently, nine state-level ministries and commissions have jointly issued a notice on identifying China's Service Outsourcing Demonstration Cities. Foshan, Guangdong Province was awarded the title of "China Service Outsourcing City".

During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Foshan adhered to the new development concept and vigorously developed manufacturing service outsourcing. With sustainable growth in volume of outsourcing service, the number of outsourcing enterprises doubled, and the contract execution amount increased from USD 491 million to USD 2.926 billion, with an average annual growth of more than 50%.

Currently, Foshan has formed a number of provincial service outsourcing demonstration parks, including Guangdong Financial High-tech Zone, Guangdong (Foshan) Software Industrial Park, etc.

Relying on the advantages of manufacturing industries, Foshan will boost the development in key areas like industrial design, finance, information technology services, etc, to create a "National Digital Service Export Base", and promote the transformation of service outsourcing to high technology, high added value, high quality and high efficiency.
