Sanlongwan awarded as “Annual Best Economic Function Zone”

On November 9, the 5th Guangdong Investment and Development Forum and Guangdong Business Environment Innovation Award 2021 were held in Guangzhou. Guided by a theme of "Improve Innovation Advantages, Share New Development", the event gathered more than 400 executives from all sectors of the community - Fortune 500 companies, listed companies, government departments, investment and financing institutions, and professional service agencies, which serves as a great opportunity to explore new directions and ideas on investment in a new era.

The award evaluates the key unites involved in business environment - economic function zones, industrial parks, and investment service teams. After over 4 months of scrutiny, 21 candidates stood out in nearly 100 nominated teams from all over Guangdong. Well deserved as it is, Sanlongwan (Foshan) was awarded as "Annual Best Economic Function Zone".

Reportedly, the Guangdong Business Environment Innovation Award 2021 was held for the first time. In this March, hectic work has been conducted to organize an independent judging committee, which was made up of 40 executives from multinational enterprises, leading enterprises, and provincial (and above) industrial platforms, experts, scholars and mainstream media, in a joint effort to discover economic function zones, industrial parks, and investment service teams that feature high-quality business environment and an innovative role in Guangdong. This important event seeks to give publicity for best practices and innovation experiences as efforts are made to improve business environment in Guangdong. From the award credits comes a motivational force that drives the region forward. It is hoped that those award winners will contribute a bigger share to the market-oriented, legalized, and internationalized business environment in Guangdong Province and even the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as a whole.

Sanlongwan is a major platform and strategic focus for Foshan to improve business environment, integrate into the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, promote high-quality economic development, build the pole core of Guangzhou and Foshan, and lead Foshan to contribute in the construction of the Greater Bay Area.
