Foshan shows strong Comprehensive Economic Competitiveness

On November 2nd, China Urban Competitiveness Report NO.19 was jointly released by National Institute of Financial Strategy CASS and Chinese Social Sciences Press in Beijing, evaluating the comprehensive economic competitiveness of 291 cities in Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Foshan is on a number of lists, among which it ranks 14th on the core list Urban Comprehensive Economic Competitiveness.The urban comprehensive economic competitiveness is the decisive force of current economic performance, and also the key foundation of the long-term development of cities.

Foshan also ranks 15th on the list Sustainable Competitiveness. Sustainable development is an eternal issue of cities globally. The development of Foshan in this indication reflects its strong comprehensive strength and well-rounded urban vitality.

What’s more, Foshan ranks 19th on the list Competitiveness of Local Factors. The competitiveness of local factors measures every segment of the city, of which capital, innovation and talent are the most important indexes.
