Foshan on the Top 100 China’s Foreign Trade Competitiveness List

On October 20, China Customs Magazine released the list of 2020 Top 100 Cities of China's Foreign Trade Competitiveness. 10 cities in Guangdong are on the list, with Foshan ranked 13th, up three spots from last year. On the list of "Top 30 structural Competitiveness", Foshan ranks 6th in China.



China Customs Magazine pointed out that among the 297 cities included in the analysis list of Cities of China's Foreign Trade Competitiveness in 2020, 188 cities have achieved positive growth in import and export, of which 118 had a growth rate of more than 10%. At the same time, the average import and export scale of the "Top 100 Foreign Trade Cities" reached 296.93 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 2.1%. Cities in the Pearl River Delta area continues to lead the quality and efficiency of foreign trade. Among them, Shenzhen has been the champion of China's Foreign trade Competitiveness for many years, not only ranking first in the two sub-indexes of foreign trade competitiveness and potential competitiveness, but also ranking the top in other indicators.


Guangzhou ranks 4th on the list and it has achieved significant improvement in foreign trade structure and foreign trade benefits in the past year; Zhuhai's comprehensive foreign trade competitiveness has increased by 2 and ranks 5th on the list.
