8 roads opened in Shunde Section of Sanlongwan to improve local business environment

　　Eight roads in Sanglongwan Innovation Cluster (Shunde Section) opened to traffic on July, marking that all routes around Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") are mutually connected. The eight roads are Yuehe South Road, Gongzhan Middle Road, Gongzhan East Road, Zhanhe Road, Yingui Road, Jiqing Road, Haijiang Road and Dejiang Road.

　　The upgrading of traffic network in Sanglongwan (Shunde Section) is a part of the efforts to achieve environment quality. Since 2020, Shunde has been doubling its efforts in optimizing the traffic, from building the arterial roads to side roads, fulfilling the aim of “opening one road every month”. The promotion of public facilities and transportation helps to build a sound and favorable business environment where more innovation and creativity will be stimulated.

　　Building a complete road network

　　The newly opened 8 roads are set around Center where such major projects as DJI and Midea KUKA Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park have landed on. In the past, they suffered from a lack of facilities and poor traffic.

　　The second phase of the Center became the block in the east-west roads after October 2019 when it was put into use, which resulted in jam nearby, affecting on the holding of exhibition as well as the daily life of residents.

　　As the roads have gone into operation, halls of the Center are more connected than ever. Moreover, it also curtailed the distance between Foshan New Town and Beijiao New Town.

　　Yuehe South Road, Zhanhe Road, Yingui Road, Jiqing Road, Haijiang Road and Dejiang Road are at the south of the Center, near DJI project and Midea KUKA Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park. Among them, south-north Zhanhe Road and east-west Yingui Road are the arterial roads now.

　　As the 6 roads put into use, the more accessible Center is expected to attract more investment and lay a solid foundation for a promising future.

　　Before 2019 when the road building was initiated, this land was used for raising cattle and sheep. And now, it has taken on a totally different look.

　　The requirement of “a new road once a month” asked for high efficiency. What’s worse, the unexpected COVID-19 outbreak imposed burden on the work. However, owning to the special financial package provided by Sanlongwan, the construction of 8 roads wrapped up on schedule.

　　Optimizing the business environment

　　Shared by Chen Feng, a staff of KUKA, in 2018 when Midea KUKA settled in Sanlongwan, Heyue Road was so narrow that a truck could hardly pass by. Now, Heyue Road has been widened and connects to Yuhe Road and Foshan First Ring. As Zhanhe Road and Yingui Road opened to traffic, this area enjoys convenient transportation.

　　Midea KUKA, a company belongs to robotics and automation industry, has a strict requirement for road transportation. Light traffic not only helps to pool high-end talents, but cut the cost of logistics.

　　Zhao Penghui, General Manager of Guangdong Tanzhou International Convention Co., LTD said that transportation and infrastructure are ones of the important advantages that the customers value the most. And as the Center locates at the heart of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster, the complete road network will attract more cooperation.

　　Reportedly, a group of projects to promote the transportation is waiting to be kicked off, including the west line of Yinggui Road and facilities in Shuikou Zone of the industrial park.

　　It is convinced that Sanlongwan (Shunde Section), with a solid industrial foundation, will build a good development environment by optimizing its transportation.
