Foshan Sanlongwan High-end Innovation Cluster (hereinafter referred as “Sanlongwan”) came into the center of the public eyes once again. On April 2, led by People's Daily and Global Times, the first Global Promotion Event for Business Investment Attraction and the Release Conference for 2020 China’s Cities Investment Attraction Index were held in Beijing. Centered on investment attraction, the conference opened up dialogue on new concepts, new industries and new growth drivers, with an ultimate goal of building an investment platform that links together governments of all levels, industrial parks and enterprises. Zhu Xixiong, Deputy Director of Foreign Cooperation Bureau at Sanlongwan Management Committee attended this conference. During his visit, he had an in-depth discussion with corporate executives on project docking, including Siasun Robotics, iFLYTEK and Fosun Group. Later on, he joined an interview with People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency and Economic Daily as a promotion for Sanlongwan.

For Foshan, Sanlongwan is the key platform to contribute its share to the building of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (hereinafter referred to as “GBA”), an important supporting area to build Guangzhou and Foshan as strong poles and promote regional integration in the two cities, as well as a key innovation platform included in GBA’s effort to become an international science and technology innovation center. Since the Sanlongwan Management Committee came into service in 2019, the area has seen greater progress in innovation capacity, growth driver and regional influence. According to "Overall Plan for the Development of Foshan Sanlongwan High-end Innovation Cluster (2020-2035)", Sanlongwan will develop into an important development platform in Guangdong to promote the building of the GBA and an innovation center on the west bank of the Pearl River.
