15 key projects settled in Nanhai Area of Sanlongwan

　　On March 30th, Sanlongwan High-end Innovation Clusters (hereinafter referred to as Sanlongwan) hosted the Signing Ceremony for Key Projects in Nanhai Area (三龙湾南海片区重点项目集中签约) and International Technology IT Talents Promotion Conference (国际科技人才邀约大会). Remarkable progress has been made on the ceremony where 15 key investment projects funded by 12.3 billion yuan were signed to ensure a total construction area of about 1.35 million square meters and gather more than 35,000 high-tech talents.

　　During the ceremony, Sanlongwan has come to terms with some of the leading enterprises, which planned to settle their headquarters or R&D centers in the area, including Joyy Group, Hongwang Group and Huya Group. Some other digital economy projects were signed as well, such as Foxconn’s “Smart Valley” and Dahua’s Digital Intelligence R&D Center, etc. These headquarters, once landing, are sure to boost the local economy, among which Internet tycoons play a leading role in gathering talents, as well as upstream and downstream enterprises.

　　The conference also witnessed the agreement made by China Information Industry Association (managed by the National Development and Reform Commission) and the Construction Bureau of the Sanlongwan (Nanhai Area) to build "China (Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area) Innovation Pilot Zone for Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Economy Integration " (粤港澳大湾区）先进制造与数字经济融合创新试验区),which focuses on 5G communications, big data, and cloud computing.

　　“Nanhai Area of Sanlongwan is our main engine for introducing projects, creating a talent pool, and promoting innovation-driven development, which gain the whole support of Nanhai District.” said Gu Yaohui, District Mayor of Nanhai. The government is confident about its prospect. Thus more policy supports and strong resources will be handed towards the area to ensure the smooth landing of all these projects.

　　On this special day, Sanlongwan Nanhai Innovation Club was established at the same time, which mainly works on the interconnection between Shenzhen and Foshan, sending out a letter to “Technological Innovators” across the world.
