After a period of renovation, High-speed Railway Train Park in Foshan now takes you on a journey through time and space. Antique trains are standing in lines for display. Let’s take a look together.
At the center of the park lies a locomotive and carriage, painted in red and white, which you might feel nostalgic for. This kind of train, which dates back to last century, was commonly known as “red leather car” in China (“红皮车”).
All these retro elements, including red leather trains, rusty rails, hard-seat carriage, and signal lights, constituted a new city landmark for people of all ages.
You will never resist taking a bunch of photos in such atmospheric themed park. Strike a pose!
Leaning idly on the train and make a glance in front of a camera, you will become a confident and gorgeous “model” in these photos.
It is an indeed nice place for photography, not only for people, but architectures, rail or scenery. You might also have a weekend get-away here!
Looking at these red-colored carriage, one can feel the trace of history. It gets you in a particular scene when you were kids. Warm sunlight outside the window scattered in the carriage like a shower.
You can never tell how many life stories these worn-out train seats bore witness to – a pounding heart on someone’s way home, a sense of ambition to make it in the city, a disheartened feel on separation… You never know.
Visitors can also experience the “rushing” high-speed rail, with three runs flying over their heads.
At night, the sky turns dark with a sea of twinkling stars, along with passing high-speed train. Everything you see is like a futuristic scene from a Hollywood fiction.
Guideline Location: Zone F, High-speed Railway Park (near the intersection of Gangkou Road and Huandaonan Road). You can park your car nearby the park.
