48 projects planned for Sanlongwan(Nanhai) with an investment of 5.69 billion yuan

　　On March 10th, the 2021 Work Deployment Meeting for Sanlongwan (Nanhai) Construction Project was held by the city government. This year, with Sanlongwan (Nanhai) Bureau of Construction as the core, 48 projects with an investment of 5.69 billion yuan were announced to improve overall urban environment, focusing on transportation, landscaping, intelligence programs and local culture.

　　“2021 is the decisive year for Sanlongwan (Nanhai) to achieve our development goals. We need to put in place every single program and put forward every single engineering project, so that we can take development to the next level.” said Panshi, member of Sanlongwan Management Committee, Director of Sanlongwan (Nanhai) Bureau of Construction, and Deputy District Head of Nanhai District. For the next phase, it is more urgent to speed up the building of the area in a way that generates leap-forward development.

　　At the meeting, Xue Peihua, deputy director of Sanlongwan (Nanhai) Bureau of Construction introduced the main tasks included in construction projects in the area.

　　This year, the area will continue to improve local infrastructure and build a more effective traffic system as a way to sort out the traffic bottleneck problem and improve the level of intelligence and interconnectivity. Besides, Sanlongwan also aims to foster a pleasant cultural environment by building up more landmark scenic spots - Nanhai-Panyu-Shunde Geographical Park, Wenhan Art Park and so on.

　　At present, Sanlongwan (Nanhai) stands in a time of great opportunities. According to the Overall Development Plan for Sanlongwan (2020-2035) published on February 2nd, the area has come up with 3 action plans – “Interconnective Sanshan” “Beautiful Sanshan” and “Intelligence Sanshan” that guides its construction work for an amazing kick-start in 14th Five-Year Plan.

　　Key projects in 4 main areas

　　Road traffic construction

　　25 projects with a total investment of 3.469 billion yuan

　　Towards places outside the area, it will link the north extension of Gangkou Road to the south, link the Wudou Bridge with Lungui Road, boost the east extension of Jihua Road and other linking/extending projects.

　　Towards the area itself, it will accelerate the construction of "eight horizontal and seven vertical" main roads in a way that develops into a more functional network.

　　Eco-environment project

　　14 projects with a total investment of 1.576 billion yuan

　　By building large-scale parks and ecological green roads, Sanlongwan will further implement the “Beautiful Sanshan” - "protecting mountains, improving water, managing rivers, and adding green", in a way that improves ecological environment.

　　Intelligence city building

　　2 projects with a total investment of 560 million yuan

　　At present, the area has basically achieved full coverage of 5G signal. This year, it will continue to strengthen communication with major operators, focusing on the building of micro-stations and room substations to expand 5G coverage.

　　Secondly, it will finish the Sanlongwan Avenue Intelligence Upgrading Project, setting a good example for building intelligent transportation. Upgrading projects for Sanshan Avenue, Changjiang Road, Huandao South Road, Taishan Road, and Gangkou Road (Sanshan Avenue-Sanlongwan Avenue section) will also be done to improve the level of intelligence.

　　Improvement projects for cultural environment

　　7 projects with a total investment of 92 million yuan

　　Based on the people-oriented concept, the area was requested to finish the building of Nanhai-Panyu-Shunde Geographical Park, the Rail Cultural Base, and the Lakeside Cultural and Creative Space and ensure basic completion of projects including the Wenhanhu Lake Park lighting project and the Wenhanhu Lake Park Cultural Upgrading Project.
