Remarkable achievements of Sanlongwan in 2020

　　The annual report of Foshan Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster (hereinafter referred to as Sanlongwan) was released on December 24. In 2020, in the face of the accelerated construction of a new development pattern under the pandemic, Sanlongwan has been cultivating new opportunities and making steady progress in the cooperation between Guangzhou and Foshan, planning and organization, project construction, industrial innovation, and foreign exchanges, which has significantly improved its capability of gathering resources and leading development.

　　Improve the high-quality development space

　　Since 2020, Sanlongwan has carried out 22 planning and research projects at different levels. By mid-December, 174 key construction projects have been settled in Sanlongwan (excluding railway transportation) with an investment of more than 190 billion yuan.

　　In terms of ecological environment, the 60-kilometer Sanlongwan Greenway will be built into an ecological corridor, a waterfront public cultural and recreational hot spot, and a demonstration area suitable for living, working and traveling. Sanshan Forest Park, Wenhan Lake Park and Sanshan High-speed Railway Park to be fully completed soon will intensively enhance the regional values.

　　At present, Sanlongwan has built a 20-minute traffic circle after connecting with Guangzhou South Railway Station to enhance traffic capacity. Sanlongwan Avenue, the longest 5G Intelligent avenue in China with the most complete functions, is expected to be completed before the Spring Festival in 2021. Fochen Road, currently in the upgrading and improving plan, is expected to become the second center road in Sanlongwan.

　　Stimulate and accelerate the agglomeration of innovation elements

　　Sanlongwan has made great efforts to develop strategic emerging industries based on intelligent manufacturing, bio-medicine, headquarters economy, etc. Since 2020, 15 key industrial projects have been settled with a total investment of 14.94 billion yuan.

　　A number of large projects have been introduced. Huya Global R & D Headquarters Project, with an investment of about 2 billion yuan, will bring an operating revenue over 10 billion yuan each year and over 100 billion yuan for 10 consecutive years.

　　The brand of "Tanzhou Convention and Exhibition" has become increasingly influential to promote the upgrading and improvement of the manufacturing industry. Though the global convention and exhibition industry has contracted by 60% this year, Tanzhou Convention and Exhibition Center thrived by holding 17 exhibitions and 30 events.

　　Accelerate the cooperation between Guangzhou and Foshan

　　Foshan has proposed to build the pole city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the next five years. As a bridgehead for the co-urbanization of Guangzhou and Foshan with great expectations, Sanlongwan has made breakthroughs in the cooperation between Guangzhou and Foshan this year. In terms of Guangfo Hui, Guangzhou and Foshan's first cooperation project, a joint venture company jointly invested by state-owned enterprises in the two cities has been set up.

　　At the same time, Sanlongwan, as an important window for foreign cooperation in Foshan, has innovated its cooperation with Germany and Europe in the face of the international epidemic situation. The first 2020 China-Europe Culture Week this year, has provided foreign-related cultural exchange activities of European cultural and commercial brands with the largest scale and richest elements in Foshan and South China in recent years, which will become a new brand for external exchanges of Sanlongwan and Foshan.
