On October 16, a grand cultural feast---2020 China-Europe Culture Week starts at Foshan Grand Theatre. Foshan citizens can experience the exchange and integration between international culture and local traditions via 10-day special activities in Foshan.
The 2020 China-Europe Culture Week will be a comprehensive display and exchange event with a large scale and rich elements for European culture and commercial brands in Foshan and South China in recent years. From October 16 to 25, a Sino-western cultural feast will be presented to the public in Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster.
With the positioning of “traditional Qiuse Parade and modern China-Europe culture”, 12 activities in three major aspects, namely the Artistic Performance, the China-Europe Folk Night and the European Lifestyle Exhibition will be held during the culture week. Among them, the China-Europe Culture Corridor and the China-Europe Culture and Art Exhibition, including European Classical Opera Show, European Art Works Exhibition and other activities, will be held in Foshan New City Culture Street Square, Foshan Grand Theatre and Foshan Library.
From October 24 to 25, the 2020 Sanlongwan Fang Tower Music Festival will be staged at the Qingqing Stage in Foshan Park, which will hold the “Fang Tower Cup” Ballad Competition and award the “China Ballad Fang Tower Award”. The show will be combined with lighting shows of Fang Tower, Century Lotus Sports Center and other landmark buildings to further enhance the night charm of Sanlongwan and enliven Foshan night economy.
On the other hand, the European Lifestyle Exhibition focuses on Germany with a series of online promotional programs to present high-quality German brands and share German (European) craftsman spirit, industrial culture and modern environmental lifestyle. Meanwhile, based on the existing resources of well-known European brands in Florentia Village, it will show European brands to the public and convey European industrial culture to further boost consumption by holding an online China-Europe E-commerce Festival.
The Consul General of Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France and other European countries in Guangzhou, as well as representatives of the Sino-German Industrial City Alliance will attend the China-Europe Culture Week this year. Through this activity, the achievements made in the integrated construction of city, industry and culture in Sanlongwan, Foshan in recent years will be presented. The first China-Europe Culture Week will help enhance the attractiveness of the city image of Sanlongwan and create new advantages in international cooperation and regional development, which will show the world a rising and dynamic Lingnan open city.
