Sanlongwan Night-cruise to be navigated on Sep. 30

　　In order to further prosper Foshan's new night-time consumption market, create a night-time economic city brand, and better meet the high-quality, diversified and convenient consumption needs of people, the CPC Foshan Municipal Committee and Foshan government have promoted the development of the night-cruise project of Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster (hereinafter referred to as Sanlongwan), which is also the first night-cruise tourism project in Foshan.

　　Based on the water axis construction of Dongping River and the lighting engineering projects of Chancheng and Shunde District, Sanlongwan will open the 1-hour “Dragon Boat Square-Beijiao Station-Tanzhou Waterway-Dongping Waterway-Dongping Tunnel-Dragon Boat Square Loop Line” route with a total length of about 17 kilometers, passing through 5 core lighting areas and 3 bridges, and overlooking 2 bridges.

　　In the future, citizens can experience the unique night scenery along the bank during the night-cruise on Dongping River by appreciatinge Dongping Bridge, Foshan Cultural Center, Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, Dragon Boat Square and other landmarks to experience the unique night scenery along the bank during the night-cruise on Dongping River.

　　The Dragon Boat Square is the first open urban waterfront leisure space with the cultural theme of dragon boat in Foshan, and the Dragon Boat Square Dock is the main dock of Sanlongwan’s cruise project. At present, more than 100 workers are intensively and actively promoting the construction of the cruise dock, tourist centers, ticket halls, lighting engineering, greening landscapes, etc. along the Dragon Boat Square and the waterfront landscape belt.

　　The Sanlongwan night-cruise project is the first night-cruise tourism project in Foshan presenting beautiful night scenery along the river. At present, the lighting engineering project of the first phase of the route is beingunder constructedion along the bank, and the lighting construction of each section will be implemented according to five major themes of the night-cruise route---Lingnan Spring Scenery, Humanistic Rhythm, Industrial Light, Imagination of the Times, and Livable Foshan, which is expected to be completed before the National Day.

　　From the National Day on, the first phase of the night-cruise route will be officially opened for citizens and tourists to visit Sanlongwan by ships and experience the great beauty of Foshan in the mode ofvia the night-time navigation.
