The list of 2020 Foshan Top 100 Enterprises unveiled

　　On the afternoon of August 31st, the 2020 Foshan Top 100 Enterprises Conference and Foshan Entrepreneur Day was held at Sino-European Services Center, attracting 400 people from Foshan’s functional departments, Foshan’s top 100 enterprises, enterprises in major industries, major chambers of commerce, and enterprise joint associations of Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Jiangmen, Zhongshan and other cities to attend the meeting.

　　During the conference, the unveiling ceremony of the list was held, releasing the list of 2020 Foshan Top 100 Enterprises, which showed that Country Garden Holding Co., Ltd. and Midea Group Holding Co., Ltd. as top 100 enterprises with “100 billion level” operation revenue ranked the first and the second respectively. The threshold of the list was nearly 2.7 billion yuan, and the total revenue of the top 100 enterprises this year has reached 1.57115 trillion yuan, increasing 224.79 billion yuan compared with 2019 with a growth rate of 16.7%.

　　Apart from releasing the list of 2020 Foshan Top 100 Enterprises, the Development Report of 2020 Foshan Top 100 Enterprises was issued as well, which showed that Nanhai District took the largest number of enterprises joining the list with 36 enterprises, while Shunde District came after with 33 enterprises.

　　From the perspective of ownership structure, 81 private enterprises were on the list with a total revenue of 1.36703 trillion yuan, accounting for 87.0% of the total revenue of the top 100 enterprises, fully reflecting Foshan’s distinctive characteristics of taking private economy as the main body.

　　During the conference, Long Yongtu, Chief Negotiator of China’s restoration as a party of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade and China’s accession into World Trade Organization, and Former Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of China, gave a speech with the theme of “the trend of global economic situation under great changes”, bringing inspirations to Foshan entrepreneurs on making scientific decisions under the current complicated and changeable economic situation.

　　In addition, the launching ceremony of the trail operation of the “excellent enterprise and E selection” service platform was held. The “excellent enterprise and E selection” system is the first public resources transaction “evaluation separation” auxiliary service model for candidate selections in China, where the project tender purchasers who adopts the “evaluation separation” method can use the analysis reports of candidates through “excellent enterprise and E selection” system and select the candidates combining with the intelligent reports of enterprise credit and risk analysis released quickly, realizing “excellent choice among excellent enterprises” to effectively promote the efficient and high-quality construction of the project.
