The Beautiful Sanshan three-year action plan of Nanhai, Sanlongwan released

　　On July 2nd, the Nanhai area of Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster held a press conference to officially release the "Beautiful Sanshan" three-year action plan, proposing to invest 3.23 billion yuan in three years to build a "5-minute park life circle" which is 300 meters to the garden, 500 meters to the corridor and 1 km to the park. By then, the urban water and green area ratio will reach 50%, and green space of more than 100 parks and more than 50 kilometers of waterside green roads will be scattered in the area.

　　Sanshan Forest Park (Phase I)

　　Urban green core, distinctive urban forest park

　　The first-phase project covers an area of about 166,667 square meters with a total investment of about 100 million yuan, officially opened to the public on June 30th, 2020.

　　Wenhanhu Park (Phase II)

　　Waterfront leisure area, the new meeting room in Guangfo city

　　The second phase of the project is located on the north side of the Luweiqiao waterway, and the east side is connected to the first phase of the project. The land area is about 283,334 square meters and the project investment is about 116 million yuan. The preliminary design has been started for Phase III, and construction is expected to start before the end of the year.

　　High-speed Rail Park Area E

　　To be the national pioneer and transform the wasteland under the bridge into the leisure green area

　　The park covers an area of about 440,002 square meters and is about 3.6 kilometers in length with a total project investment of about 100 million yuan. The project is divided into seven areas from north to south, of which 133,334 square meters in area E will be opened to the public in the near future, and other areas will be completed by the end of 2020.

　　To build the heart of ecological garden city

　　In 2019, in order to promote the implementation of the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Planning Outline", and co-build the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area development pole, Guangzhou and Foshan were the first to jointly start the construction of the pilot area of the Guangfo High-quality Development and Integration Pilot Area. The Nanhai area of Sanlongwan in the Pilot Area embraced another major development opportunity.

　　At the launch conference of the opening of three major parks and the "Beautiful Sanshan" three-year action plan held on July 1st, Pan Shi, director of the Construction Bureau of Nanhai area of Sanlongwan and deputy head of Nanhai District, explained the specific implementation of the plan in detail.

　　Taking ecological construction as an accretion of regional value urgently

　　From June 30, the three major parks in the Nanhai area of Sanlongwan opened successively. The total opening area of large-scale parks has reached 991,338 square meters, exceeding the area of Qiandenghu Park. After the plan is completed in 2022, the total green area in the Nanhai area of Sanlongwan will reach nearly three times that of Qiandenghu Park.

　　"In the next three years, we will insist on taking the ecological and environmental construction as the priority." Pan Shi said that Nanhai area of Sanlongwan will be guided by the construction of the beautiful bay area, implement the concept of ecological priority development, and focus on improving the quality of the ecological environment, aiming to be a benchmark for ecological integration in Nanhai District.

　　Accelerate the layout to make a breakthrough first

　　The economic development is full of potential. A large number of key projects such as Jihua Laboratory, Foshan (South China) New Material Research Institute, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Foshan) Technology Achievement Transformation Center have been successfully introduced in the Nanhai area of Sanlongwan. The key projects such as the Industrial Park and International Creative Park Phase II started smoothly.

　　The pioneer of Reform and Opening-up. In July 2019, the Nanhai area of Sanlongwan took the lead in starting 5G construction in the city. In April 2020, the Nanhai area of Sanlongwan released the latest transportation plan, and 30 transportation projects with an investment of 30 billion yuan were launched to accelerate construction.
