Online promotion helps Sanlongwan attract investment

　　On April 10, hosted by Foshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Sino-German Industrial Services Zone (Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster) Management Committee,  the 2020 Foshan Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster Cloud Merchants Promotion seminar was held. An unprecedented online promotion meeting for "Cloud Investment" brought people's attention to the fast-developing high-end innovation cluster area of Foshan Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster (hereinafter referred to as "Sanlongwan").

　　Location advantage is the most obvious

　　Wu Yi, Merchants Director of Foshan Sino-German Industrial Services Zone (Sanlong Bay) management committee, said that Sanlongwan has four strategic positioning, covering a global high-tech manufacturing innovation hot land, an open cooperation benchmark on the west bank of the Pearl River, a leading area for the integration of Guangzhou and Foshan, and a high-quality Lingnan water town. The four major development strategies are first put forward by the unique geographical advantages of Sanlongwan.

　　Geographically, Sanlongwan is located in the southeast, spanning the three economically strongest areas, Chancheng, Nanhai and Shunde, including five towns, Shiwan, Guicheng, Chencun, Beijiao and Lecong, whose industrial basic are the most solid. Sanlongwan accounts for about 8.6% of Foshan’s total area, but ends up creating 21% of Foshan’s GDP.

　　A global robot "Silicon Valley" with strongest basic industry

　　Wu Yi said that Sanlongwan will create a modern industrial system supported by technological innovation and advanced manufacturing principal part and strategic emerging industries as principal parts, and productive services as mating part under the four development strategies, with a solid industrial foundation.

　　Sanlongwan will focus on the development of advanced manufacturing industries with international competitiveness, highlight of the main direction of intelligent manufacturing, and focus on the introduction and cultivation of a number of leading companies such as robots, intelligent working machines, additive manufacturing equipment, integrated circuits, and new sensors, R&D center, manufacturing base, aiming to become a national robot research and development hot land.

　　Shunde Robot Valley, a major provincial project located in Shunde, is stepping up its construction.

　　Wang Dehua, deputy director of the Sanlongwan Construction Bureau of Shunde, said that the planned area of the project is 16 square kilometers, and it will turn into a world-leading robot "Silicon Valley", a new city of intelligent technology industry that leads the future development. By accelerating the gathering of international innovation resources, attracting high-end talents from around the world, it focuses on the promotion technology and service of robot products , the application and open development of all scenarios, technologies and services, to create a world-leading smart park with the ability to serve the entire industrial chain of robots.

　　The best ecological environment, gathering high-end talents

　　Sanlongwan has a dense river network, well-developed water systems, and urban-green integration with more than 400 kilometers of riparian lines. Meanwhile, it is located in the traditional area of "Nanhai-Panyu-Shunde", an important birthplace of Lingnan culture and Cantonese culture which is closely tied with Hong Kong and Macao. Its fantastic natural conditions make it a livable and industry-friendly Lingnan water town.

　　Talent is the first resource for the development of Sanlongwan. Wu Yi said that the headquarters economic support policy is about to release, aiming to attract a group of headquarters projects with scientific research strength and sufficient high-end talents.
