8 high-quality nighttime economic integration zone to be built in Foshan

　　The "Foshan Municipal People's Government Office's Implementation Opinions on Promoting Nighttime Economic Development " (hereinafter referred to as "Implementation Opinions") was recently released, proposing to fully dig out Foshan's nighttime consumption resources, and to cultivate, build and upgrade a batch of high-quality nighttime economic clusters and demonstration sites in 3 year. It aims to accelerate the nighttime economic industry and to form a fine business development ecosystem for nighttime economy.

　　By 2021, Foshan will have built 8 high-quality nighttime economic integration areas and 80 night economic demonstration sites. Among them, Chancheng, Nanhai, and Shunde districts will have built respectively 2 high-quality night economic integration areas and 20 night economic demonstration sites. Gaoming and Sanshui districts will have built 1 high-quality night economic gathering area and 10 night economic demonstration sites, respectively. All together it will then transform "Night Foshan" into a well-known nighttime economic brand in China.　　

　　10 missions to boost the vigor of Foshan nighttime economy

　　The ‘Implementation Opinions’ proposes to fulfill 10 missions including creating ‘Night Banquet’ with catering brands, ‘Night Cruise’ with launched routes, ' Night Sightseeing’ with city nodes, ‘Night Shopping’ with shopping malls, ‘Night Tour’ with featured scenic spot, 'Night Performance’ with audiovisual theaters, 'Night Kung-Fu’ with the well-known Kung-Fu city, 'Night Cultural Taste’ with cultural venues and ‘Night Reading’ with study bars and 'Night Stay’.

　　It proposed to create the 'Night Banquet’ catering brands which accentuates the characteristics of Cantonese cuisines, to cultivate the Cantonese cuisines master chief, to support the catering company to declare its brands (famous restaurants, dishes and dim sum), which will polish the prestige of ‘the world gourmet city’.

　　It proposed to create the 'Night Cruise’ initial launched routes. The Dongping-Tanzhou waterway night cruise will set up booking services such as charter service, product releasing, corporate ceremony, business cocktail, wedding cruise, family bounding activities. It also scheduled to set up lighting festival, music festivals and camping festival etc.

　　It proposed to create ‘Night Sightseeing’ with city nodes by improving the river banks of Dongping River Waterway，Ancestral Temple Lingnan Tiandi, Liang’s Garden, Creative Industry Park, Nanhai Qiandeng Lake, Xiqiao Mountain, Shunde Qinghui Park, Shunfeng Mountain Park and Gaoming Minghu Art Park and other surrounding facilities.

　　It proposed to create ‘Night Tour’ featured scenic spots focusing on increasing the number of overnight visitors at the scenic sites. It aims to support the nighttime events in scenic spots such as those in Ancient Nanfeng Kiln, Shunde Huaqiao Happy Coast, Gaoming Midea LuHu Forest Resorts, by extending the visiting time for scenic sports of 4A level or above and by reducing the entry fee of nighttime activities.

　　It proposed to create ‘Night Kung-Fu’ in the well-known Kung-Fu city, by promoting and enhancing Foshan Wong-Fei Hung Memorial, the former residence of Chen Sheng, the former residence of Rong Sheng Tang, the former residence of Ip Man, and the former residence of Bruce Lee. All sites will have trials opening at night.

　　It proposes to create ‘Night Reading’ study bar by integrating the library resources across the city. The opening time will be extended till 22:00 on weekdays and 24:00 on weekends.

　　Four supportive policies to boost nighttime economic development

　　The ‘Implementation Opinions’ clearly put forward four supportive policies including the nighttime inclusive prudent supervision, upgrading the amenities, increasing financial support and planning of promotional marketing strategies.
