Tanzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center held 66 activities in 2019

The second phase of Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center (via Wang Shu from Foshan Daily)

　　In 2019, with the completion of 5 brand new pavilions (No. 6 to No. 10) coming into use, Tanzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center sited in Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster has created unlimited business opportunities with an indoor display space of 10,000 square meters. The Center has held a total number of 66 exhibitions, conferences and other activities. 

　　Equipment continuously upgraded

　　Services steadily improved 

　　To facilitate needs of self-driving visitors, two parking buildings P7 and P8 were completed and put into use, with a total of more than 4,500 parking spaces. The center also set up non-stop public transport connection system which maximizes the convenience of people participating in. 

　　With respect to catering services, the new center has set up a fixed and a temporary dining area, which expand the capacity of catering services. It has introduced various international catering services and the well-known ‘Taste of Shunde’ featured local cuisine, which has taken into consideration the diversity and personalization of catering options. 

　　Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center has fully implemented the quality management system (ISO9001), environmental management system (ISO14001), and occupational health and safety management system (OHSAS18000). Through establishing an international and standardized operation system, it aims to comprehensively upgrade the serving capacity and quality of pavilions. 

　　Brand strategy levels up  

　　Center attracts more exhibitions 

　　A roadshow activity was held in Beijing in July; two annual promotion activities for key industries, the 'China Industrial Exhibition Cooperation Summit and Sanlongwan Industrial Exhibition Innovation Forum’ was held at Tanzhou in August. The success of these events shows the responsibility and mission of the Center as an international professional industrial pavilion in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. 

　　In 2019, Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center was dedicated to expand global cooperation with event organizers, industrial associations and media organizations. It has singed cooperation memorandum with FAKT Exhibition Co., Ltd., a member of Pakistani UFI; it had a letter of intent with German KIT Group Scientific Conference Management (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and a strategic venue cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Industry Association. 

　　Relying on its good reputation, Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center has received 16 industry awards in 2019. From the start of operation till today, in about 3 years, it has been granted up to 40 industry awards. 

　　Advancing development quality 

　　Embracing large-scale exhibitions 

　　As an international industrial pavilion in the Greater Bay Area, besides holding industrial exhibitions, the Center continues to introduce new exhibitions, conferences and activities, which greatly enriches the capacity and improves the eco-system of the Center. 

　　2020 Foshan (Tanzhou) International Ceramics and Bathroom Exhibition along with 2020 Foshan International Ceramics Equipment and Materials Exhibition will be launched at Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in April, 2020. By the time, the exhibition area will reach 10,000 square meters. In addition, there will be three entry halls, 18 multi-functional boardrooms, 18,000-square-meter outdoor pavilions and other supporting facilities.

　　Li Haofeng, an official from the Convention and Exhibition Bureau of Sanlongwan Management Committee said that Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center has took the lead and set up the benchmark in Foshan local exhibitions. The Committee will advance the planning and development of Tanzhou exhibition area, progressively building a city of conventions and exhibitions.
