Smooth progress is made in Foshan's three cross-city transportation projects

　　Recently, the transportation department of Foshan went to Nanhai and Shunde to conduct special investigations, and inspected the north extension line of the Port Road, the outer ring expressway of the eastern part of Zhongshan and its north extension line, and east extension of south section of Foshan First Ring. In the future, the implementation of these three projects will help Foshan to quickly connect neighboring cities such as Guangzhou, Zhongshan and Shenzhen.

　　In the above projects, the north extension of the Port Road starts from Hedong Road, Liwan District, Guangzhou, and passes through Guanggang New City, Yinsha Road, Yulan Road, Nanjiao Village, Dongping Waterway, and Port Road of Nanhai District with intersection of Port Road and Sanshan Avenue, Nanhai District, Foshan in the south. It is an important communication channel between Foshan Sanshan New City and Guangzhou Guanggang New City. The outer ring expressway of the eastern part of Zhongshan and its north extension line are connected to the Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Expressway, with ShenZhen-ZhongShan Bridge under construction in the south, which connects Foshan and Zhongshan. It is of great significance to interconnect and improve the Guangdong highway network between Foshan, Zhongshan and Shenzhen.

　　In addition, east extension of south section of Foshan First Ring, starts from the Beijiao Interchange of the first ring of Foshan (the southern section), intersected with Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Line, Dongxin Expressway, Nansha Port Expressway and Guangzhu North Line. At the ending point, the Gull Island and the Nansha Bridge are connected. The project has realized the expressway docking of Guangfo, which will bring great convenience to citizens from Guangzhou and Foshan.
