　　On November 18, Guangdong (Foshan) Doctor and Post-doctor Talent Exchange and Science & Technology Project Docking Meeting was held in Shunde, and Foshan Doctor and Post-doctor Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base was officially launched. The meeting lasted two days. With the theme of "Attracting talents from all over the world and creating a talent bay area", the meeting has attracted 1,200 Doctor & Post-doctor and other high-level talents from all over the world.

　　The meeting has collected a total of more than 3,900 doctoral and postdoctoral talents, and 1,116 innovation achievements.

　　Among the participants, 98% had doctoral degrees, and 180 young doctoral and postdoctoral talents were from overseas. 95% of them were majored in biomedical, engineering and materials, energy and environment, advanced manufacturing, new generation information technology and other strategic emerging industries.

　　Zhu Mingning, a doctoral student who has just graduated from Britain, said he wanted to work in a scientific research institute. "When I first came to Foshan, I felt that the city was very attractive, the economy was developing well, and it was suitable for living and working." Judging from a series of talent policies issued by Foshan and the considerate services provided by this meeting, I think Foshan attaches much importance to talents and I will consider to work in Foshan in the future.” Zhu Mingning said.

　　The incubation base will come into service in December

　　Foshan, one of the first cities to set up a postdoctoral workstation in China, is currently equipped with 61 post-doctoral research work stations, with the highest number among the top of China. In recent years, post-doctoral research work stations of Foshan actively undertakes the major scientific research projects in China, and they develop and transform a large number of advanced scientific research technology achievements, which greatly improves the product R & D, the independent innovation ability and the core competitiveness of the enterprise, and generates great economic and social benefits.

　　Zhang Donghang, deputy director of Foshan post-doctoral work management committee, said that the base with an area of 7,400 square meters is located at Fengshou Street of Ancestral Temple, which will be put into operation in December this year. and will be introduced into all aspects of the country to carry out standardized management. According to the development direction of the Foshan industry, it will cultivate high-level talents of Doctor and Post-doctor to realize the transformation of scientific and technological projects, and serve the local economic and social development.

　　Next, Foshan will fully build the high-end innovation platform to provide the platform for all kinds of talents to realize the dreams. At the same time, Foshan will spare no effort to build high-end innovation platforms such as the Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster, Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone and Jihua Lab. By 2020, Foshan will introduce 100 various innovation platforms for talents to achieve their dreams.
