2019 China (Foshan) GD-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area Kung-Fu Film Week will be held in Foshan

　　On November 12th, the press conference of 2019 China (Foshan) Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Kung-Fu Film Week was held. It was announced that 2019 China (Foshan) GD-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area Kung-Fu Film Week will be held in Foshan from December 17 to 21 this year.

　　Famous stars and Kung-Fu masters will appear in Foshan

　　It is reported that it’s the first film week named after the “GD-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area” since the Outline Development Plan for the GD-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area was unveiled. Activities during the film week will closely follow the theme of "GD-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area ", which aims to make the film week rich in the characteristics of the times, regional characteristics and film characteristics. For example, at the closing ceremony of the film week, a film workers parade of GD-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area will be formed.

　　It is said the Kung-Fu film Ip Man 4 that will be released on Dec.20 will be broadcast in Foshan for the first time on Dec. 17. Donnie Yen will meet with the audience in Foshan with his main team of the creation group.

　　The business card of the Kung-Fu city will be polished

　　This film week will fully combine with Foshan’s features of Kung-Fu city. Focusing on Kung-Fu, the film week will hold a series of thematic activities such as the opening of Wong Fei-hung Memorial Hall, Kung-Fu Experience House, Kung-Fu Short Video Contest, Kung-Fu Carnival, Performance of Kung-Fu Drama "Foshan Kung- Fu Youth", Wing Chun Boxing Contest and etc.

　　It’s reported that the Kung-Fu film week mainly includes four main activities, including the opening ceremony, film exhibition, professional forum, and the closing ceremony.

　　The opening ceremony

　　The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held at CCTV Nanhai Movie & TV Town on December 17th. The opening ceremony will focus on the humanity characteristics of GD-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area, take classical Kung-Fu film music as the main line, integrate Kung-Fu display, poetry and painting, chorus, Kung-Fu dance, light and shadow interaction and other forms, to create a large audio-visual event and bring the audience back to the classic film and television memory.

　　In particular, the activity will invite excellent filmmakers and the musicians of the GD-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area, showing the craftsmen spirit of Chinese Kung-Fu film.

　　The Closing Ceremony

　　The closing ceremony will be held at Foshan International Sports & Entertainment Arena on December 21. The closing ceremony will be composed of the red carpet ceremony and the party. The design of red carpet ceremony will be based on the cultural elements of GD-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the participants of the film week will be invited. The party will carry out performance based on Foshan elements, characteristics of GD-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area, Chinese fashion and international experience, and widely spread the Kung-Fu culture.

　　Film Exhibition

　　According to the plan, during the Kung-Fu film week , there will be 6 film exhibitions and free film broadcasting activities in Foshan, including the Premiere of Ip Man 4, the Classic Kung-Fu (action) Film Exhibition, the Kung-Fu (action) Animation Film Show, the Belt and Road Initiative National Action Film Show, the Foshan Light and Shadow (action) Film Show and Bona Film Festival.

　　In addition, there will be a series of forum activities and nine featured activities during the film week. Let's look forward to the sparkling and exciting Foshan!
