CHKD visits Foshan for new cooperation

　　September 12th saw the arrival of CHKD (Die Chinesische Handelskammer in Deutschland e. V.) at Sino-German Industrial Services Zone (Sanlongwan). Later, they visited many places such as theRobotation Academy Foshan, GICEC, Midea-KUKA intelligent manufacturing industrial base and Foshan City Exhibition Hall. After knowing the city culture, regional economy, advantageous industries and business environment, visitors hoped to strengthen communication between the two sides and explore new cooperation.

　　The first station of CHKD’s journey is the Robotation Academy Foshan, in which visitors can familiarize the great strength in the robotic industry of the two countries by visiting exhibition hall and industrial 4.0 intelligent manufacturing line.

　　As the first of its kind, Robotation Academy Foshan is also the only one institution authorized by Hanover Robotation Academy. Open in October 2017, this academy has worked with more than 20 leading enterprises from home and abroad focused on robotic production, integration so far, providing numerous services including robots, automation, industrial 4.0 display, trade, training and communication for Foshan and even the southern area of China.

　　Later, visitors went to Midea-KUKA intelligent manufacturing industrial base to have a closer look at the production of robots

　　Right now, the first phase of the base is undergoing pilot production. It’s estimated that the number of robots produced will reach more than 5,000, which will be worth 800 million yuan. By the year 2024, KUKA is hoped to produce as much as 75 thousand robots.

　　The last station, Foshan City Exhibition Hall covers an area of about 20 thousand square meters. Focused on people, ecology and innovation during city development, the hall provides a glimpse into the touching local stories through the latest digital technology and interactive display facilities. 　　Forums to strengthen communication between China and Germany

　　At the forum, German representative showed his satisfaction towards the deepening Sino-German cooperation and hoped that both sides can broaden the cooperation categories so that cooperation in more fields can move onto a deeper level. Meanwhile, representative also introduced the situations at 2019 Sino-German Economic Summit and invited Foshan to be the cooperative partner of this event. He hoped that Foshan enterprises can be part of the forum and introduce reputable companies and projects to their German counterparts.

　　The visit of CHKD laid a solid foundation for Sino-German cooperation in a broader field. In the future, the two sides will carry out more communication and exchange to deepen their cooperation and create a better environment for companies of the two countries.
