The first bus of Foshan Metro Line 2 "enters the Station"

　　On August 23, the opening ceremony of the first electric bus of Foshan Metro Line 2 was held at Huchong Parking Area. According to the plan, the phase I of Foshan Metro Line 2 project will come into operation in September in 2021, and the time for citizens going from Foshan central area to Guangzhou South Railway Station will be shortened to only half an hour.

　　The first phase of Foshan Metro Line 2 is composed of 25 electric buses, each with 6 compartments, and the design speed of the electric bus is 100 km/h. Up to now, nearly 90% of the investment has been completed in the first phase of Foshan Metro Line 2.of all the 17 stations,15 have been roofed. At present, professional projects such as rail laying, decoration and electromechanical equipment are operating in good order.

　　According to the plan, the first phase of Foshan Line 2 starts from Nanzhuang, Foshan, and connects with Guangzhou South Railway Station, with a total length of 32.41 km. It passes through Nanzhuang, Shiwan, Kuiqi Road, Dongping Waterway, Fochen Road, Wendeng Road, Linyue Road, Chencun Waterway and Guangzhou South Railway Station, and there are 17 stations in total.

　　The successful delivery of the first electric bus marks a key step in the construction of Foshan Metro Line 2, laying the foundation for joint adjustment test. The first phase of Foshan Metro Line 2 is expected to carry passengers in September 2021.
