Introduction to Tanzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center using Kung-Fu Language

　　Situated in Foshan, GICEC acts as an excellent place for industries and citizens in Foshan to take a look at the world.

　　5 August has seen the opening ceremony of Chinese Industries Exhibition Cooperation Summit and the Sanlongwan Industries Exhibition Innovation Forum in GICEC. As one of the hosts of these two forums, the Center introduced to the participants what it has achieved during the almost 3-year operation. According to the introduction, some 3 million people have attended more than 90 exhibitions, meetings and activities which cover an exhibition area up to as much as 9.05 million square meters, accounting 30% of the utilization rate.

　　Seen from the top, GICEC seemed like a folding paper in the first stage of construction. With further construction, the Exhibition Center resembles an ark sailing across the ocean in the second stage. After the Center being put into use, 100-thousand-square-meters indoor exhibition area will pave the way for the Center towards an international development featuring its own characteristics, specialism and brand.

　　As a foreigner who has been working in Foshan for almost 3 years, Joey Pather, general manager of GICEC started the speech in Mandarin on the podium, which drew the participants closer. Believing that GICEC is a miracle in Foshan exhibition industry, he successfully associated the Center with Foshan Kung-Fu. “Foshan is building a city of Kung-Ku, and this is the reason why I used Kung-Fu principles to help you better understand the development of GICEC.” Said Pather in the ceremony.

　　Then, Pather explained the operation experience and the direction of development of GICEC from 7 points. He stated that GICEC was built from scratch. The first step to success is to build a professional industrial center, then a Robot Academic in Foshan for intelligent manufacturing. The third step is to build a construction meeting center.

　　To meet more business requirements, Number 6 to 10 showroom of GICEC (the second stage) will be put into use, providing 100-thousand-square-meter exhibition area for Foshan industries. In the near future, facilities such as hotels will be built consecutively around GICEC, advancing further development of the Exhibition Center. Said Pather.

　　It’s known to all that GICEC has been working with Deutsche Messe, a globally leading producer of capital goods trade fairs in Germany and around the globe from the very beginning. GICEC has adopted the notions and used the resources of Deutsche Messe in the process of design, construction and operation. “We are working towards the combination of meticulous and professional German convention and exhibition industry with that of Foshan.” Said Pather.
